We took family pictures with my "In-Laws", my brother in law Trent's family, his mother in law "NANA", and the Monsons. Since we have known them they've treated us as though we were family. Nana adopting us as her children, even letting us stay with her after our house sold, and while we waited for Maile to arrive.

It was great being with them and taking such cute pics! Nana made the girls our Colts scarfs and got the boys their Colts shirts. We gotta show our love for the Superbowl Champs.....right?

In the picture with the grandkids we set them up from oldest to youngest....everyone wanted a chance to get to hold the baby...so this was Ean's turn. He was too cute, he turned Maile so the camera could see her better.....I almost had a heart attack as he quickly turned her..i guess i thought he was gonna drop her...but he made the picture better.

everyone will be getting a Happy New Years card...so be on the look out for it.

Can't wait till Maile's 2nd Christmas!

This year was fun, being her "first" but....it'll be great to have her opening her presents next year..it should also be easier to shop for her. There aren't many presents to get for a 3-4 month old.

But Maile did get some cute presents...a play mat, books, light up toys and clothes!

I would have posted a video of me opening the presents with her on my lap...but Daddy forgot to press RECORD!!! Bless his little heart for trying, he was even narrating and everything. There's always next year!

A BIG day of Firsts!!!!

Sooo... Maile TURNED over today!!!! I had just changed her diaper, She was in a good mood, laying on her back "talking" with Papa Aina and she turned on her side then she was on her belly before I knew it!!!! Papa and I were both so excited, we started clapping and telling her she was such a big girl.....would she do it again?!?!?!? NO! She did it that once and that was it. Oh well! She is only 3 months as of this weekend, I'll give her more time.


Then we went to see Santa! We met up with her cousins Kahla and Ean, along with Aunty Stacy and Uncle Trent. We got a picture with Santa, and we really did not like it at all!! You wouldn't know it by the pictures though. she was ok with santa for a few moments, then she let out a shrill, pissed off cry, the binky was great for a few moments, long enough to take the pictures.

My favorite time of the day!

Full belly and clean diaper makes a happy baby!!! This is my favorite time of the day! Maile eats and I change her diaper and she will talk and smile at you, beautiful baby!

I have this song I came up with, trying to keep her happy while making her a bottle or changing her diaper, it goes a little something like this: " Hi Maile, Hi the babygirl, whatcha do-ning, whatcha doing!!!!" somehow it seems to make her smile! Usually it makes me smile too!

Seeing this picture where she is smiling, and I actually was able to catch it on the camera makes me realize how quickly the past few months have gone by!!

First Time Blogger!

So here goes nothing!!!

Heard/saw others doing these and thought this would be a good idea for family and friends!

Hopefully I'll do better with this then I do with sending cards and letters, atleast this way everyone will be able to see at once and I won't need to write a billion cards.
